Walkability

More than ever people want a home located in an area where they can walk to dining, shopping, and other activitiesWalk Score is a great website that allows you to score a neighborhood on “walkability” by entering an address.  It will plot nearby attractions (e.g. businesses, parks, churches) and rate the neighborhood on its walkability on a scale of zero to 100.

Fayetteville has made great strides in the past few years to make the city a more walkable community.  From construction of the Scull Creek Trail to implementation of aggressive traffic calming device plans, the city has a number of strategies to make it safe & easy for pedestrians.
